Practice Areas

Business Law
Services include:
- drafting and reviewing contracts and leases
- business formation (including incorporation and partnerships) and related agreements
- purchase and sale of businesses or business assets
- asset protection for business owners
- business succession planning
Small businesses need a trusted legal advisor just as much as larger businesses. All businesses lease or purchase real estate for their offices or facilities, enter into agreements or contracts with customers and suppliers, maintain insurance, and merge or sell their businesses. Small business owners also must individually navigate financial, estate planning, and liability issues, which are no less important for them as for the officers of large corporations.
Our relationship with business owners typically starts with a comprehensive Business Legal Needs Audit to determine what services are needed, including establishing and maintaining a business entity, ensuring that adequate insurance is in place, reviewing agreements and contracts, and succession planning. To address these needs on an ongoing basis, we offer affordable fixed fee membership plans to businesses as an alternative to our regular flat fee options.

Real Estate
Services include:
- residential purchases and sales
- commercial and agricultural purchases, sales and financing
- leases
- condominiums
Buying a home (or any property) is the biggest investment most people will ever make. At Allinotte Law Office Professional Corporation, we understand that the process of buying and selling a home can overload you with information yet leave you with many questions all at the same time. You need legal guidance early in the process to make sure that you are making the right decisions.
We provide all clients with an information package outlining the steps in buying or selling a home, including an explanation of what title insurance is and what questions you should be asking your lawyer and real estate agent. You are also invited to meet with us early in the process for a Real Estate 101 meeting where all the legal questions you have can be answered.

Estate Planning and Estate Administration
Services include:
- estate and tax planning including dealing with challenging family situations, business interests, and assets located outside of Ontario
- creating Powers of Attorney for Property and Personal Care
- creating Family Trusts or other trusts where necessary
At Allinotte Law Office Professional Corporation, we are committed to delivering great service in a very responsive manner, structuring our fees so there are never any surprises to you, and giving you affordable lifetime access to a personal lawyer. For clients who have lost a loved one, we can help guide you through the estate administration process so you will no longer be lost or confused at a difficult time. We offer unique and affordable membership plans to make it easy for your personal legal affairs to keep up with changes in your life and in the law.
Our estate planning process starts with a Peace of Mind Planning Session where you will learn what really happens to your assets (and your family) when you pass away. This educational based meeting gives you the information you need to make empowered decisions for you, your family and your business. We offer a range of flat fees, agreed to in advance, so you will know after our first meeting just how much this is all going to cost.
Depending on the planning level you choose, we offer a comprehensive Family Emergency Response Plan, so you can ensure that your children never end up in the arms of strangers in a tragedy. We also offer Priceless Conversations interviews to allow you to pass on more than the “stuff” you own.
We also offer estate administration services to assist you after the loss of a loved one. Services include:
- review of Will and assets of the deceased to determine if probate is necessary
- filing of court documents where probate is required, including special requests to the court
- passing of accounts
- assistance to trustees and executors
Dealing with the death of a loved one can be very difficult. At Allinotte Law Office Professional Corporation, we help guide loved ones through the processes required to administer an estate, whether it be the court process of probate or the distribution of assets.
